Privacy policy

This policy explains how Sunday Geneva ("we") handles personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). Questions: [email protected].

Who is responsible

Sunday Geneva is responsible for the processing described here. Our full contact details are in our legal notice.

What we collect

Website visitors: we use cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It counts page views and clicks without cookies and without building visitor profiles. Your rain and night mode choice is stored only in your own browser.

Newsletter: if you sign up, we store your email address. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Emails to us: if you write to us, we keep your message and contact details to reply.

Venues that pay for a listing: name, business name, email, billing address and payment status. Card and TWINT details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

Why we use it

To run and improve the website, send the newsletter you asked for, answer your messages, deliver and bill paid placements, and meet our legal duties (for example keeping accounting records for 10 years).

Who processes it for us

Cloudflare (hosting, security and analytics) and Stripe (payments and invoicing). They process data on our behalf and may do so outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the USA, with appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purposes above: newsletter data until you unsubscribe, messages until the matter is closed, billing records as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or receive a copy. Email [email protected]. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here.
